"

We have new physio!

We present Mayka Molina, a new addition to the physiotherapy and osteopathy service, as well as being a personal trainer.

She was Basque, adopted by Barcelona for 13 years, in love with sports and a healthy lifestyle. She is a former soccer and rugby player, and a CrossFit practitioner for 4 years.

“I defend that the body is movement, therefore, when it loses that free movement due to some physical, traumatic, emotional or visceral problem, it is necessary to recover it to avoid major damage such as permanent injuries. Fortunately, through the combination of osteopathy and personalized training, I have found a way to restore this necessary free movement.”

During her 10 years as a physiotherapist, she has always been closely related to sports, which has allowed her to see all kinds of sports and traumatic injuries, where the combination of clinical treatment, rehabilitation and readjustment to the discipline are crucial.

Her training in Osteopathy allows her to assess, diagnose and treat all kinds of diseases caused by postural changes and mobility that can cause wear and pain in neighboring areas. She also has visceral dysfunctions such as poor digestion, constipation, gas, reflux, referred pain in some area of the body, premenstrual syndrome, respiratory problems after pathologies such as pneumonia, bronchitis… even sequelae from Covid-19. Even cranial treatment for, the increasingly common, headaches, migraines, tinnitus, bruxism, head injuries due to accidents or falls, and a long etcetera.

Part of her interest, training and experience leads her to the field of neurological physiotherapy where patients who have suffered stroke or head injuries need physical therapy, strengthening of the muscles and re-learning movement patterns to recover their basic daily activities for a long time. try to regain independence.

To book an appointment, you just have to go to reception and choose the time that suits you best, she will be happy to help you!

[215

post-7589","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-physiotepapy

WE HAVE NEW PHYSIO! | CEM Colom

<meta name="description" content="We have new physio!
