INDOOR COMMUNAL TRIATHLON
Be prepared, get ready now! The tenth Indoor Communal Triathlon is about to begin!
Spring is in the air, and Spring is synonymous with bloom, rebirth, good times, longer days, terraces with friends…And yes, it’s also synonymous with sport and communalism. For this reason our triathlon takes place in Spring, because it’s the ideal time for making new and alternative, revitalising, fun, healthy, and, why not, COMMUNAL, plans.
Last month we announced both the date of the triathlon and the start of specific free training events that we organised to obviate those last minute excuses for not taking part in the trials. In this notice we want to announce the chosen organisation, the project to which raised funds will be donated, and convey to you that this year more than ever we would like to count on your participation. This is now the time to get rid of your fears and take part in an alternative, fun, solidary, exciting and special event, that should leave no one feeling indifferent.
This time around we are extremely pleased, given that the effort of all participants turned to donations will go towards saving the Park at Sant Juan de Dios (El Parque Sanitario San Juan de Dios), which engages in a comprehensive effort at social inclusion for all those who suffer from mental health issues. With this united effort, we will help to make life much easier for those of us who do not benefit from the same opportunities as the rest. With a gesture as simple as putting on an outfit and having an unforgettable time, we can make it possible for some of us to have opportunities and feel a sense of social inclusion.
Enrolments open on the 16th of April, at a cost of only €8, which will be given entirely to the organisation Sant Juan de Dios. It is important to bear in mind that everyone can take part in the indoor communal triathlon, given that the event is adapted to all fitness levels. In this event we can really say that it’s the taking part that counts, as participation means helping many people in need.
Don’t wait until the last day, and remember that in previous years all places were taken up within the first few weeks. This year we celebrate 10 years, and we want the event to be a 10 in participation also, a 10 in unforgettable experiences, a 10 in organisation, and above all a 10 in communal fundraising.
