GRANTS FOR CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Grants for children’s and youth sports activities

At CEM Can Ricart and CEM Colom, as every year, we apply the extracurricular and sports grant system established by the Barcelona City Council.

Important dates

• Aid level application period: from January 15 to February 11, 2026 (this first step is mandatory in order to be eligible for grants).
• Resolution and code assignment: once the application period has ended, the City Council will notify families of the assigned aid percentage and grant codes.
• Activity registration periods:
  • Summer activities: April–May 2026.

  • Sports extracurricular activities (including Cross Joves or swimming courses for the 2026–27 season): September–October 2026.

With a single application per household, the City Council assigns an aid code that can be used for all activities during 2026 (according to the usual calendar) and allows the corresponding aid percentage to be applied.

At our centres, grants apply to:

• Seasonal swimming courses
• Cross Joves
• Campus Olímpia

Once your aid code has been assigned, it must be entered when completing registration for activities at CEM Can Ricart or CEM Colom.
