TV3 Marathon.
Last month on the 15th and 16th of December, on the occasion of the TV3 Marathon, we organised a set of sporting activities with the aim of raising the largest amount of money possible in order to contribute to the drive in biomedical research. Furthermore, we also organised a raffle for a pair of boxing gloves.
“108 solar salutes” was the activity that took place between 9am and 11am on the morning of the 15th of December. 45 participants came to fill up the facility’s pavilion in the end.
In relation to the activities of Sunday the 16th of December, between 11am and 12.15pm in the morning, we were able to enjoy a turn of Zumba with 25 participants attending. After an hour and a half of intense activity in the CEM Colom pavilion, 15 participants came along to the swimming pool to do an hour of aquagym.
As a result the amount of raised funds after both Saturday and Sunday’s events were completed was a total of €394. While the prize draw for the pair of boxing gloves raised €136.
To conclude, we would like to thank all those who attended or collaborated in some way in the events of the 15th and 16th of December. We hope to be able to put on another turn of activities, raise as much as we can, and therefore collaborate once more with the TV3 Marathon.
