SWIMMING TECHNIQUE-BEGINNERS COURSE WITH THE AIM OF AQUIRING SELF-SUFFICIENCY IN THE WATER
This is a physical activity class with the aim of learning to swim. Adaptation to the aquatic environment is achieved through exercises, games, and the praxis of different swimming strokes, mainly front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke.
Timetable: Monday and Wednesday from 20.10 to 21.00
ADVANCED SWIMMING TECHNIQUE- COURSE FOR IMPROVING TECHNIQUES RELATED TO DIFFERENT STROKES AND ENHANCING PERFORMANCE.
Another physical activity class with the aim of improving swimming technique. This is effected through exercises, games, and praxis of different strokes, mainly front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke.
Timetable: Monday and Thursday from 20.30 to 21.20
Urban dance originating in Africa centring on the myriad ways to move the hips and bum. Body control is taught through various isolation techniques at the same time as improving coordination, musicality and balance.
Timetable: Monday from 18.15 to 19.45
WOMAN IN THE AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT (WOMEN OLDER THAN 16YRS)
Physical activity class in the water for women who, for cultural or religious reasons, do not want to engage in shared swimming activities. The general aims are the familiarisation with and improvement of understanding about this environment, conducted in a playful mode.
Timetable: Thursday from 3 p.m to 4 p.m or Friday from 3 p.m to 4 p.m
